WIND BREAKER Anime Reveals Rival Key Visuals, Cast

 

WINDBREAKER, An continuing TV anime based on the manga about high school hoodlums has debuted a new key visual (below) as well as new cast members for the Shishito-ren ("Lion Mask Tribe"), a group of opposing brawlers who square off against Bofurin's members. The series is now airing in Japan and is available for watching on Crunchyroll as part of the spring 2024 anime simulcast lineup.

• Kouta Sago voiced by Chiaki Kobayashi

• Yukinari Arima voiced by Masaaki Mizunaka

• Minoru Kanuma voiced by Hiromu Mineta

Satoru Nii's original WIND BREAKER manga is serialized in Kodansha's Magazine Pocket, with an English language translation available from Kodansha USA. The anime adaption is directed by Toshifumi Akai of CloverWorks animation studio. Hiroshi Seko composed the series, Taishi Kawakami designed the characters, and Ryo Takahashi composed the music.
